Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Cultivator assist in the upkeep, stock, and fulfillment of growing cannabis, including, but not limited to; watering, feeding, pruning, cloning, cleaning, and transplanting. This position will report to the Cultivation Manager.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily care of cannabis plants, including watering, pruning and trimming, inspecting the plants.
- Fertilizing and providing nutrients to the plants according to cultivation protocols
- Careful monitoring of the plants for any signs of growing issues or problems; treatment for disease or infestation.
- Ensure the appropriate information is accurate and listed clearly in accordance with the state regulations and company standard operating procedures.
- Carefully follow directions
- Willingness to continue to learn best practices of cannabis cultivation with a strong interest in horticulture, agriculture and greenhouse operating systems.
- Sweeping, mopping and all other required cleaning
- Cleaning of the plant housing devices
- Maintenance and cleaning of the plant tables
- Maintenance of the plant pots
- Reporting any issues to management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 21 years or older
- Well organized and ability to keep deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment to achieve company goals
- Must be able to climb on ladders
- Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
- The willingness to continue to learn and grow with the company, improve cultivation skills and gain greater knowledge of cultivation processes
- Must be able to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by Ohio
- Must be focused, pay close attention to detail
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively

- Ability to pass a background check

Starting salary is $16 per hour; after 6 months of successful employment, salary will go to $17; after 1 year of successful employment, the salary will go to $18 per hour.
