Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to work in the medical marijuana industry maintain a safe and secure environment for all employees and visitors. This role involves conducting site inspections, responding to emergencies, reviewing security camera footage, and completing special assignments. The ideal candidate will be proactive, professional, and aligned with company policies, as well as state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure a safe and professional environment for employees and guests
2. Conduct foot patrols and maintain a visible security presence
3. Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents and emergencies
4. Escort individuals and manage deliveries as needed
5. Review camera footage and complete incident reports
6. Perform light maintenance duties and minor repairs
7. Maintain cleanliness, including floor care and stain removal
8. Represent the company and security team with professionalism and a positive attitude
9. Miscellaneous duties as requested

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED
2. Minimum of 6 months experience as a security guard
3. Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor
4. Ability to pass a federal background check
5. Physically able to perform walking patrols and light maintenance
6. Must be able to pass a state and federal background check
